Day Day Itinerary

You will be picked from Entebbe Hotel and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, which is one of Uganda’s newest National Parks. Arrive in time for lunch. Thereafter, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, seeing animals like the impalas, zebras, buffalos, topis, elands, oribis and many others. Overnight: Eagle’s Nest. Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Wake up to a cup of coffee and an early morning game drive, where you will be able to see the early risers and many more. Later return to the lodge for a late breakfast and relaxation. After a hearty lunch, enjoy a boat ride where you will meet the water birds such as the Papyrus gonoleks, Brown-faced lapwings, Carruther’s cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-faced Go-away bird. Overnight: Eagle’s Nest Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Have an early breakfast then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park found in the southern part of the country. On your arrival, you will relax at the lodge while preparing for the gorilla tracking the next day. Overnight: Gorilla Valley Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, be transferred to briefing point for your Gorilla Tracking adventures. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but criss crossed numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The park is known for its fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these spectacular primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving but exciting adventure. You will have packed lunch on this day. Note: For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. Afternoon is spent on leisure in the lodge. Overnight: Gorilla Valley Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a game drive while entering the park. Animals like leopards, warthogs, antelope species, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, and elephants. On your arrival, have lunch and proceed for the launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Different animals that come to drink water at the channel and water birds will be viewed along the shores. Overnight: The Bush Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

After a cup of coffee, for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in the park. You will see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Kobs and many more. Drive back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon is either spent in the lodge or another game drive. Overnight: The Bush Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Have breakfast at the lodge then head to Fort portal, Kibale. You will have lunch en route and on your arrival you will head for a swamp walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will view the birds and monkeys that inhabit the swamp. Overnight: Kibale Forest Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee briefing the forest guide. You will locate the chimps listening for their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. You will also see the Black and White Colobus monkeys, Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. Afternoon is spent in the camp relaxing. Overnight: Kibale Forest Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Drive northwards to Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast. The park is located in the north-western part of the country. This pleasant drive will pass you through the famous battle zone of the Luweero Triangle. You will have a lunch stopover at Masindi town and then proceed to the Murchison Falls, the most beautiful falls on the river Nile. Have a game drive as you head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Overnight: Fort Murchison Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

After breakfast, go for a morning game drive on the southern banks of the river. The morning drive will take you through different habitats. On the drive, you will clear to see different animals which include giraffes, Hartebeest, Elephants, Bushbucks, Lion, Jackal and many others. This drive will take you to hippo pool. After lunch, you will carry out a launch cruise and will view concentration of Hippos on the banks of the river. For the birders, a variety of birds will be present such as the Pel’s Fishing-Owl, king fishers. We then disembark from the boat to visit the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile. The famous waterfall is being forced into a seven meter crevice, to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades. This spectacular scenery can be viewed from different points up at the baker’s summit. Return to the lodge later for dinner and overnight stay Overnight: Fort Murchison Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Depart from the park and head to Kampala. Along the way, you will carry out a chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest with in Budongo Forest. Overnight: Airport Guest House Meals: Bed & Breakfast

After breakfast, be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. Note: Transfer to the airport depends on your flight departure time
